Customer Service encompasses more than providing post-sales support. Our customers must be satisfied with the entire interaction they experience with Portec, from service, sales and applications support to equipment performance and reliability. Portec wants to ensure that you, the customer, get what you expect. For Customer Service, this means acting promptly and efficiently to resolve your conveyor problem. All customer support team members have years of experience in the material handling industry. Our team is capable of troubleshooting most any problem related to your conveyor unit. They can connect you to an entire staff of experienced engineers and technicians who can answer your questions, offer advice and solve your conveyor unit problems.

Portec’s Customer Service team can provide emergency or scheduled field service. Put our experience to work for you. Scheduled down time can be a challenge and only provide a small window of time for scheduled service and preventive maintenance. Portec’s field service experience can help you maximize these opportunities and help eliminate future emergencies. By working with your operators and maintenance staff we can reduce conveyor down time by increasing their awareness of preventive maintenance and maintenance know-how to get it done.

Customer service is available to any customer that has a Portec conveying unit. We offer unlimited phone support during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. MST, Monday through Friday). On the weekend, please call (719) 371-3427.
